Sales Consultant (Athletic Performance)
Location: D1 Training Alliance – Fort Worth, TX
Type: Part-Time | Sales + Member Engagement | Growth Role

D1 Training Alliance is looking for a driven, energetic Sales Consultant to lead new member acquisition and fuel the growth of our training community. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, is passionate about fitness, and gets fired up helping people change their lives through performance training.

As the face of D1 for incoming members, you’ll be responsible for owning one of the most critical stages of the sales process by helping every prospect feel confident in taking the next step to accomplish their fitness goals -- showing up. You’ll also play a key role in supporting facility operations and leading by example with energy, focus, and urgency.

What your average day looks like:
  • Follow up with new lead submissions that come through paid and organic marketing channels -- these are people who have expressed interest in training at D1. (No cold calling)
    • You'll make as many as 100-150 calls per day to connect with WARM leads and prospects in the pipeline.
  • Every athlete we train, begins with a free 1-on-1 assessment with a certified coach. It's your responsibility to make sure they commit to showing up.
  • We operate with guidance from Proverbs 27:17 "Just as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another". It's not just a motto we preach --  it's a pillar of our business model. (And it's on our walls!)
    • Showing up is the hardest part, so you're expected to maintain an assertive and persuasive presence on the phone and through text/email. You'll need this to get people to show up for their appointments.
Want to succeed in this role?
  • Be courageous. Don't be afraid to call someone out for fleeing back into their comfort zone.
  • Be respectful. We believe in meeting everyone where they're at -- physically, mentally, and emotionally.
  • Be a role model. Don't like to workout? ... DO NOT APPLY.
  • Be resilient. Your expected to deliver results. You will receive feedback on your performance.
  • Be responsible. We demand excellence. This is not the place to collect a paycheck.
  • Be a self-starter. See an opportunity to problem solve? Don't hesitate to present an idea or try to solve yourself.
  • Be innovative. You won't hear us say "that's how we've always done it" so neither should you.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in sales (2+ years fitness, membership, or service-based sales preferred)
  • Thrive with speaking to prospects on the phone
  • Strong communication skills and a high-energy personality (on the phone and in person)
  • Passion for fitness and helping people achieve their goals
  • Self-motivated with a strong personal “why” that aligns with D1’s mission
  • Comfortable working evenings or weekends based on gym traffic and lead volume
Preferred -- Minimum Qualifications Plus:
  • Experience in a boutique gym or training studio
  • Familiar with CRM tools and sales metrics
  • Bilingual is a plus!
Perks & Benefits:
  • Competitive base pay + commissions (Don't be shy. You'll earn a nice base and be compensated for results)
  • Free D1 Training membership (We expect you to workout and get to know our members/clients)
  • Ongoing training and career development (We care about our people and their future)
  • Continuing education opportunities through D1 and our partners
Who We Are:
D1 Training is a science-backed, athlete-focused training facility that serves adults and youth athletes (ages 7+). We combine professional-grade coaching with a supportive team culture to help our members build strength, speed, confidence, and grit.

At D1 Alliance, we don’t do gimmicks—we do results. You bring the work ethic, and we’ll bring the coaching, programming, and accountability to help you level up. As our Sales Consultant, you’ll be the first one helping new members take that first step.

U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Information (Completion is voluntary)

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

You are being given the opportunity to provide the following information in order to help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action record keeping, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Completion of the form is entirely voluntary. Whatever your decision, it will not be considered in the hiring process or thereafter. Any information that you do provide will be recorded and maintained in a confidential file.

Form CC-305

Expires 4/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.
