Responsibilities
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in leading daily operations, driving membership growth, and delivering the D1 customer experience. The AGM is hands-on in sales, staff support, and member engagement, serving as a role model for coaches and front desk staff while ensuring every athlete receives a world-class experience.
- Assist the GM in achieving membership sales and retention goals.
- Lead by example in front desk operations: setting up memberships, processing payments, and handling member inquiries.
- Support staff scheduling, training, and accountability to ensure operational excellence.
- Conduct member progress check-ins and ensure athletes feel supported in their goals.
- Provide leadership presence during peak hours, events, and community engagement activities.
- Help monitor facility performance metrics, including sales, attendance, and customer satisfaction.
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the GM’s absence to ensure seamless operations
- Associate Degree
- 3 years of management
- Can out-sell anyone in the room & loves it
- Knowledge of gym and retail operations
- Positive and energetic personality with a “can do” attitude
