- Lead small group and one-on-one training sessions for athletes with varying abilities.
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating training environment.
- Adapt D1 Training programs to meet individual needs while maintaining safety and effectiveness.
- Communicate with parents/guardians to provide progress updates and foster strong relationships.
- Collaborate with the D1 coaching staff to integrate athletes with special needs into the broader D1 community.
- Previous coaching or teaching experience (special needs or adaptive programs preferred).
- Background in exercise science, physical education, therapy, or related field is a plus.
- Knowledge and patience to work with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental needs.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain).
